Description

The Madeline print was inspired by Irish Artist Harry Clarke whom was enchanted by
the poem "The Eve of Saint Agnes" by John Keats.


The story told is a myth about a young maiden Madeline vision of her future lover
upon performing certain rites on the eve of Saint Agnes day. Saint Agnes is the
patron saint of virgins. The panels tell the romantic story of two lovers escaping to be
together on a cold windy stormy night.
Awake! Arise! My love, and fearless be, For o'er the southern moors I have a home
for thee. Quote from the poet John Keat's.
