Collection: Divine Mercy

The Divine Mercy - Dublin 2023 is inspired by a vision of Jesus by St Faustina in 1931. Jesus appeared to St. Faustina and directed her to "paint an image of him, with the signature: Jesus, I trust in You" (Diary of St. Faustina, 47-48).

There have been three Divine Mercy images to date, Divine Mercy - Dublin is the fourth. It represents Jesus more in line with the vision of St. Faustina who was disappointed with the painting. Jesus eyes are looking downward, the rays of water and blood coming from his heart which represent water and his blood are more centered to the viewer's eye level

The image has many purposes within the new devotion to Divine Mercy. Jesus revealed that the image would draw many souls back to his love and mercy and would protect everyone who dwelled in the shelter of the rays emitting from his Merciful Heart.
