Description
The Saint Patrick's Collection was inspired by the stained glass window in St. Mary's
RC Church, Ballinrobe. co. Mayo.
The window was created by Irish artist Harry Clarke. The prints are vivid and
luminous to try and convey the role that light plays in the beauty Saint Patrick,
credited with converting Ireland to christianity in 400 AD is the patron saint of Ireland.
Saint Patrick's day is observed on 17 March, the supposed date of his death. It is
celebrated, not just in Ireland, but all over the world as a religious and cultural
holiday.
